A Little Bit About Us
Evans Photography has been in
business since 2001. We started with a Canon EOS3 film camera
and we were shooting photographs of scenery and animals first
because that is what we enjoy doing most. As we became better
photographers and studied under some of the professional
photographers in the area, we eventually started photographing
children. That has led us to where we are today: photographing
weddings, families, children, animals, etc. We now have a Canon
Digital 20D and two Canon 5D cameras.
Photography has become a very
big part of our daily duties and we have our own photography
studio. We photograph quite a few of the area events, such as,
the Orange Mardi Gras Ball which we have done for two years
now. We have had the privilege to shoot some of the beauty
pageants in the area and the Physicians Christmas Party for
Christus Hospital of Orange. Tim is the Instructor for the Basic
Photography class at Lamar State College of Orange in the
Continuing Education Department. He also teaches private lessons
for those who want them. Tim also works at Infocus Camera &
Imaging on 16th St. in Orange as the General Manager,
where he talks all day about one of his favorite subjects -
Photography!

If all this weren’t enough, we
recently added another home-based internet Travel Agency to our
daily activities - Travel & Cruise Services. This is a
full-service Travel Agency as well as a business opportunity for
those of us who want to “Travel like the Pro’s”. Check out our
Travel website on our home page under the Travel Tab…
News frun Iraq
The photos below include our
Son, Dustin Evans. Dustin is a Lance Corporal in the United
State Marine Corps. He has been deployed to Iraq in the region
of Ar Ramadi, since September of 2006. He will most likely be
promoted to Corporal before he returns Stateside sometime in the
summer of 2007. Dustin is in the 2nd Marine Division.
1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. His
duties in the Marine Corps are as a Tactical Data Network
Operator, where he has received a Certificate of Commendation
from the Marine Corps for his duties and services to the troops
in Iraq. We are very proud of his accomplishments and ask that
you keep him and all our Service men and women in your prayers.
Till They All Come Home…
For those of you keeping track, Dustin was
promoted to Corporal (a non-commissioned officer) on May 1,
2007. He is now in charge of 6 Marines and responsible for them
and their well-being. The 1/6 came home (stateside) to North
Carolina on May 1, 2007. On their way home they stopped over in
Ireland and the Marines made use of their time there by enjoying
some Irish beer. They were
ALL
ready for that! Upon returning to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina,
they got about 1-month leave to go home to their families. We
were thankful to see him and enjoyed our visit. The Marines of
the 1/6 are now back in N. Carolina were they are waiting for
their next over-seas deployment on a Naval vessel to Europe and
then possibly to Afganistan. They will be deployed some time in
February of 2008. I’ve added some picture from Iraq and.
